| St. Alphonsus School follows the Louisiana state approved guidelines for curriculum and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Our Pre-Kindergarten 3 and 4 year old programs offer theme based curriculums and incorporate several of the best educational approaches in early childhood. The programs utilize a hands-on discovery approach. Religion is taught daily in all grade levels and students attend mass once per week. St. Alphonsus School offers a well-rounded curriculum. Individual learning styles and needs are nurtured. Emphasis is placed on the spiritual, physical, and mental development of each child. A Reading Resource Program is offered for students with special learning needs in the area of Language Arts. |
